A note from Mr Pardini
I look forward to seeing our families this Sunday 26 February at 9.00am for our annual Opening Mass held in the church. At this Mass, our Head Boy and Head Girl, as well as Faction Captains will be presented to the entire community, along with the staff, P&F and School Board. Following Mass, we will have a morning tea so if you can provide a plate to share, we would appreciate it.
I am pleased to say the girls toilets are nearly complete. One (of three) cubicles is operational with the other two anticipated to be ready for next week, we are just waiting on the correct fittings for the latches. They are looking awesome and very fresh. I would like to thank Mr Nathan Milne who spent several days installing the partitions. I really appreciate the time you gave us to complete this project Nathan. To all the fabulous girls in our school - thank you for your patience during this time and I am pleased the end result means you now get some beautifully renovated toilets.
Just a reminder to all families, Monday 6 March is the long weekend. Please note this is a Pupil Free Day. The school week will commence on Tuesday 7 March in this week.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Faction Swimming Carnival
It is fast approaching! Next Friday 3 March we will make our way to the Bridgetown pool for our annual Faction Swimming Carnival. This day is for all students from Year 3 - Year 6. On this day, the P&F will have a stall selling food. We hope you can join us for a day of fun, water and cheering!
Thank you Mrs Rogerson
Last week the Year 5/6 classes worked with Mrs Alicia Rogerson, a resident artist, for Harmony Week. The classes were fortunate to have an 'extra art lesson' with Alicia as they drew faces to highlight that we are all physically different. Mrs Rogerson has taken the drawings with her and will be creating a banner for Harmony Week. The final product will be a collaboration with all the local schools and will be displayed in Bridgetown. Harmony Day is celebrated on Tuesday 21 March.
Canteen - Volunteer Roster
Our fantastic Canteen Manager, Kristan Banks works hard to ensure the operation of our canteen, so we can offer this service to all students twice a week. Parent volunteers are crucical for the ongoing success of the canteen. We have a lack of volunteer helpers this year, with many spots for this term yet to be filled. This is an ongoing predicament from term to term. We appreciate the busyness of everyone's lives, however for the continuation and success of the canteen into the future, we call upon parents to assist. Below are the dates that we still require help - please contact the school office if you can assist.
Week 6 | Fri 10 March - Canteen Helper |
Week 7 | Tue 14 March - Canteen Helper |
Week 8 | Fri 24 Mar - Canteen Helper |
Week 9 | Tue 28 Mar - Canteen Helper Fri 31 Mar - Canteen Helper & Cake Maker |
Week 10 | Thu 6 Apr - Canteen Helper |
