A note from Mr Pardini
Mission Money
We are now into the week three of the Lenten season. The Year 5 class has taken on the responsibility of tracking the money raised through Caritas (Catholic Missions). Each year group has a money box in their classroom, and in the true 'spirit' of Lent, this is a time of giving up and giving to others. Caritas is a Catholic organisation that supports those in need. Thank you to all students for your support of our Missions appeal. Congratualtions Year 1 for raising the most amount of money so far - a whopping $135.20! St Brigid's has collected $274 in total.
P&F Movie Night
Can I please draw your attention to the P&F movie night flyer below. The committee has put a lot of work into this evening and it would be great to receive the support of our St B's families for this event. Tickets are now online via CDF Pay.
I look forward to seeing many of your tomorrow at our Interschool Swimming carnival at Boyup Brook. Go St B's!!
Have a great weekend everyone!

School Uniform
This week we have continued our uniform focus on wearing the correct shoes and socks for both our formal and sports uniforms. Thanks parents for your support in maintaining our uniform policy. If your child is not wearing the correct uniform on a particular day, please provide a note to your child's teacher. As of next week, students who are not wearing the correct uniform will be ask to be seated at recess time unless a note has been provided. We appreciate unforms are difficult to come by at the moment, so where execptions need to be given we will take this into consideration.
Footwear and socks
Formal uniform: Girls (white socks and black school shoes OR brown sandals, not joggers); Boys (grey socks and black school shoes OR brown sandals, not joggers).
Sports uniform: all students - white socks and sports joggers.
Faction Swimming Carnival Results
A message from Mrs Beesley ...
What a fabulous day we had at the St B’s Swimming Carnival on Friday 3rd March. The sun was out and hot. The kids were excited and nervous. The teachers were stressed and amazing. The day was fun and victorious!
I was so impressed by the level of commitment and determination of all competitors. It was also wonderful to see so many students try out for additional events and ‘give it a go’ even if it wasn’t in their comfort zone.
I would like to acknowledge some incredible parent helpers who worked all day!
- Geri Moore – Starter
- Kristy McDonald – Recorder (there were so many adjustments t be made and she was on point all day!)
- Leena and Dylan Jones- helpers and judge
- Lizzie Doust, Sarah Fisk, Amy Doust, Lara Gandini and Laura Scott – place takers
- Georgie Reape- My starters Marshall
- Bruce Beesley – Timer
Plus all the other helpers that were there to aid in the set up and pack up of the day. You really were amazing and these days cannot run without your help and assistance. Thank you.
Well done Jude!
Jude Terry in Year 1 received a cricket award for 'South West Blaster of the Month' in acknowledgement of his enthusiasm and enjoyment for all the fun cricket activities as part of the Bridgetown Cricket Club.

A big thank you goes to Jas Schmidt Hunt and the Year 3 parents who ran and supported the cake stall at last week's swimming carnival. It was a wonderful day!
