Thursday 5 April, 2023 (Week 10)
A note from Mr Pardini
And just like that....the term has come to an end! Thank you to the wonderful St Brigid's Community for making this term a success. I certainly feel very humble to be a part of St Brigid's.
Teacher-Parent Meetings
I appreciate an 'early close' is not easy for everyone to manage, but a big thanks to all parents for ensuring their children were collected by 12.00pm. I hope this gave all families a chance to catch up with their child's teacher. To the amazing staff who stayed at school into the early evening, thank you for your time for this first mode of reporting. If you have not yet met up with your child's teacher, please feel free to make a time next term.
Three Year Old 'Little Sprouts'
It was great to meet the youngest members of our school at the recent parent meeting. A reminder to all families, Little Sprouts commences on Tuesday 2 May (Week 2) due to the ANZAC day public holiday.
Stations of the Cross
Thank you to Mrs Price and the Year 5 class for a very moving reflection and depiction of the Stations of the Cross. What a beautiful way to enter Holy Week and reflect on the true meaning of Easter through the life of Jesus. In a fitting way, the Year 5 class also managed this year's Project Compassion appeal with Caritas. All money collected through the Mission boxes has been distributed to Caritas to help support those families in need. More than $600 has been raised this year - congratulations St B's.
Easter Raffle
Thank you for making our Easter raffle, the biggest raffle ever! With lots of donations from families, the student council were able to raffle a number of prizes. Congratulations to these lucky recipients:

Paint Me A Rainbow Day
Thank you to everyone for being a part of 'Paint Me A Rainbow Day' last Friday by dressing up in bright colours, purchasing merchandise and participating in the dance off!
We raised a whopping $800! This money is split equally between the Autism Awareness "Paint Me A Rainbow Foundation" and St Brigid's School. We appreciate the ongoing support, it's so wonderful to have our families and students get behind this initiative to increase understanding and awareness of neuro diversity whilst raising money to purchase sensory resources.
