A note from Mr Pardini
Mother's Day brekkie
Thank you to all the Mums for coming along to our Mother's Day Breakfast, a wonderful turn out on what was a very chilly morning. I'm sure we would all agree it was a lovely gathering and a delicious breakfast organised by our amazing staff! Thank you to all involved. We also had the P&F Mother's Day Raffle draw, congratulations to our winners:
- 1st Prize - Bec Armstrong, winner of the Kitchen Aid mixer
- 2nd Prize - Stella Mentlein winner of the Jess Liebregts photography voucher
Winter 'bugs'
We seem to have an early onset of winter illness and other bugs with a high number of student absentees this week. Thank you to families for being diligent in keeping your child home when they are unwell.
Cyber-safety parent meeting at St Brigid's
We have organised a parent education evening workshop with esafety expert Kayelene Kerr on Tuesday 27 June at 6.30pm (Week 10, Term 2). This session will deal with cyber safety and digital wellness to help parents navigate the very complex online world. We strongly encourage our St Brigid's parents to attend this informative and valuable workshop. Please RSVP using the link in the flyer included in this newsletter.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Mother's Day Brekkie!
Congratulations Reed!
A huge congratulations to Reed who received our latest MJR award. It surely is a great testament to his character for receiving this award so soon after commencing at our school. Here is what his certificate said:
Congratulations on always being a caring person in our school. Reed, you have come to St Brigid’s and always strive to make everyday a great one! It is so nice to hear how you always smile and show kindness wherever you are. Thank you for being such a respectful and kind friend to others in your class. For the awesome person you are, we say ‘THANK YOU!’
Walk Safely to School Day
St Brigid's will be participating in Walk Safely to School Day tomorrow Friday 19 May. If you would like your child to be involved, please meet at the Skate Park at 8.10am for an 8.15am departure to St Brigid's School. This will be a supervised walk by our staff so you may do school "drop off" at the Skate Park (8.10am) or parents are welcome to join the walk. This initiative is now in it's 24th year and aims to promote road safety, health and the environment. We hope to have as many children participate as possible.
SEQTA Engage - Student School Reports
Semester Reports for 2023 will be issued to parents via an online app called SEQTA Engage. Paper copies of reports will no longer be printed and sent home. In the coming weeks all parents will receive an email from St Brigid's advising a SEQTA Engage account has been created for you. The email will include a link to set up your account and you will also be required to download the app. This method of issuing reports will allow parents to have constant access to your child's current and past semester reports.
