A note from Mr Pardini
Assistant Principal 2024
Many of you may have already seen the memo I posted earlier this morning regarding the Assistant Prinicpal role in 2024. Mrs Mandie Muir will be having a year away from school through CEWA's deferred salary scheme. Over the course of next year, we know Mrs Muir will enjoy exciting travel opportunities, extra long brunches and lots of family time...we will welcome Mandie back to St B's in 2025! In Mandie's absence, Mrs Louise Barber will be holding the Assistant Principal 'reigns' for the year. Congratulations Louise on your appointment to this role.
SEQTA Engage - new school report format
Next week all parents will receive information on how to create their SEQTA Engage account. This account will give all parents access to their child's report on-line. If you are anything like me, I am sure you are tired of creating usernames and passwords for different accounts, with so much generated in a digital space, but once you can access your child's report on-line, you will soon see the benefit when all reports are easily accessible in one place. A reminder, all reports will be distributed this way. You will have the option to print your own reports at home should you wish.
Cyber-safety parent meeting at St Brigid's
Have you registered for this yet? We would love as many families supporting this esafety workshop on Tuesday 27 June at 6.30pm (Week 10, Term 2) where we have been fortunate to secure an expert in this field to talk with St Brigid's families. This session will deal with cyber safety and digital wellness to help parents navigate the very complex online world. Please RSVP using the link in the flyer included in this newsletter.
See you at the River Park for our cross country tomorrow!

First Aid workshops
Today, our Year 4/5/6 classes completed a one hour session with local St John Ambulance officer Erica. The sessions introduced all children to some of the basics of first aid as well as the 000 emergency phone number. Thank to you St John for providing this free service to our students. Why not ask your child tonight if they can demonstrate the 'recovery position' for you!
