A note from Mr Pardini
Confirmation Mass
On Sunday 13 August at 9.00am, we will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation with Levi, Simona, Jaimee and Sam. We hope you can come along and share this sacrament with these children. Following Mass, there will be a morning tea in the hall. If you could bring a plate of food to share, we would also appreciate it. Bishop Emeritus Holohan, together with a relief priest (Father Geoff Aldous) will celebrate this Mass while our Parish Priest Father Roshan is on leave.

Liturgy PP/Y1/Y2
On Wednesday our Pre-Primary, Year 1 and 2 students participated in a Liturgy, the theme for this Liturgy was the Holy Spirit. Thank you to our teachers Miss Aird, Mrs Barber and Mrs Matenaar for your efforts in bringing together such a beautiful Liturgy, including preparing the children so well for their readings, prayers and songs. Mrs Barber gave an insightful re-tell of 'The Good Samaritan", this story illustrates how the Holy Spirit guides us to make good choices and show love to others. We also had visiting priest Father Geoff in attendance who asked the children how they thought they could be a good Samaritan in their own lives. Thank you to all the students for your thoughtful responses on how you can show kindness to other people when you see they need help. At the end of the liturgy the students offered their Holy Spirit Dove as part of our Confirmation unit 'Empowered to Love'.
Garden Club
Earlier in the week our Garden Club made the most of the beautiful sunshine and we gave "Steve the Scarecrow" a makeover! We think Steve looks great, with hopefully just the right amount of 'scariness' to keep the birds from eating our veggies!
Father's Day Breakfast
Our annual Father's Day Breakfast at St B's will be taking place on Friday 1 Sep from 7.45-8.30am on the school basketball court. We look forward to seeing our school Dad's at this breakfast, we will cook up bacon & egg rolls for you to enjoy and we have also organised "Early Birdie", a local coffee van to be on site, should you wish to purchase a coffee. Our P&F will also be running a raffle with some great prizes to be won!
