Dear Families,
Only 1 day to go and we will break for our Term 3 school holidays. The last week of this term has been another eventful week although a little quieter with our Year 6 class on camp at Fairbridge Village, Pinjarra. The campers are all having a fantastic time and we have shared some photos in the newsletter showcasing some of the fun and adventurous activities they have been doing!
A reminder to everyone that Term 4 resumes on Tuesday 10 October. The Term 4 Planner has been included in this newsletter and a printed copy will also be sent home to all families. You can also access the school events on the home page of SZapp by clicking on the 'School Calendar' tile and sync to your phone calendar.
Next term we welcome back our Principal Carlo Pardini - I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the wonderful team of staff at St B's as well as our parents who have been extremely supportive during the past 5 weeks during Carlo's absence. When I reflect on the last 5 weeks, they have been fun and full with lots of activities for the students including TREE Talks, BookWeek Parade, a showcase of their art at the exhibition, Open Afternoon, Fathers Day breakfast, Creative Crew Challenge, St Brigid Feast Day celebrations and Wellness Week. I'm sure you would agree the efforts from the staff and students have contributed to the fun and success of these activities. We are looking forward to rejuvenating over the school holidays before we return for our final term of the year on Tuesday 10 October.

Year 1 Excursion
On Tuesday as part of the History curriculum, our Year 1 class went on an exciting excursion to Manjimup. We explored the historical cottages at the Timber Park and finished our morning with a play at the park and a shared morning tea.
