Thursday 7 December, 2023 (Week 9)
A note from Mr Pardini
Dear Families,
And just like that, the year has come to an end!
We celebrated an awesome night on Tuesday with our carols on the oval. Thank you for your attendance to make the night so special - I know the children loved entertaining their families. A big thanks for the amazing staff for making this happen with all the work they carried out behind the scenes. A special note of thanks must go to Mrs Rubie Watts our Drama teacher. Taking on a whole school nativity play is always a big under taking and you did it with style Rubie - thank you! We hope the Nativity story we presented was a beautiful lead into the festive season for you. Many of you enjoyed the gourmet boxes which were once again prepared by Kristan and Blair Banks - thank you for providing this service to our community.

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded their leadership roles at our Carols night. We look forward to working with you in 2024.

- Head Girl - Daisy Glancy

- McAuley Faction Captain - Hamish Jansen
- Quinn Faction Captain - Harrison Giblett
- Vincent Faction Captain - Ella Milne
Kindy 2024
Next year, we welcome another member to the St Brigid's staff. Due to the Kindy having in excess of 20 students, we have appointed another Education Assistant to ensure we have the required ratio of adults to children. Congratulations to Mrs Jessie Bosley who will take up this position at the start of the new year. Jessie is no stranger to St Brigid's, having been a past student herself. I am sure she will soon feel 'right at home!'. Congratulations Jessie and we know you will enjoy your time in Kindy next year.
Happy Holidays
Please take note of the dates school will commence in the new year (posted below). A reminder, the first day back for students is Wednesday 31 January with the school office open from Wednesday 24 January.
As we move into the holiday period, may I take this opportunity to thank all our families for their support of our teaching and learning programs this year. I hope that everyone can enjoy a well-earned break over the Christmas holiday period.
Have a happy and holy Christmas, peace, love and joy to one and all. See you all in 2024!
