Thursday 6 June, 2024 (Week 8)
A note from Mr Pardini
Dear Families,
Front Administration Office - as you are no doubt aware, the front office area sustained some extensive water damage on Tuesday night from a burst hand basin flexi-hose. The entire admin area (staff room, offices, and reception area) was flooded. In order to mitigate further damage, we have called in a professional team to extract the water and dry the carpet. We have been told this may take between 10 days to 2 week to complete. In the meantime, we have relocated the front office area to the Library Board room. If you wish to see the front office ladies, please access this area from the front side of the library (Roe Street). Please be aware, there is a path leading down to this area with a ramp for anyone not able to negotiate the stairs. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your support in this coming week.
Interschool Cross Country - The St Brigid's team is looking forward to this event. Congratulations to the team for making it to the cross country which will be held at East Manjimup Primary School tomorrow. We look forward to sharing the results next week.
First Holy Communion - Can you believe it's nearly here! This Sunday 9 June at 9.00am, we celebrate the sacrament of First Holy Communion with five of our Year Four students. Following Mass there will be a light morning tea in the hall, and we ask you for bring a plate of food to share. The Year 4 class has been preparing for this Mass and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Year 5/6 Mass - Apologies to our families, but we have had to postpone the Year 5/6 Mass which was scheduled to take place next Wednesday. When Father is next available, we will keep you informed of the new date.
School Advisory Council and P&F Committee Meetings - A reminder to all members of these committees, our next set of meetings are taking place next week. Here are the times and venues of our meetings:
- School Advisory Council - Tuesday 11 June (6.00pm) in the library
- P&F Committee - Wednesday 12 June (6.30pm) at the Bridgetown Hotel
We hope you have enjoyed this short week!

SEQTA Engage - Student Reports
All students reports Pre-Primary to Year 6, will be issued to parents via SEQTA Engage.
This method of issuing reports via a digital platform allows parents to have constant access to your child's current and past semester reports, they can also be easily shared to other family members (for example, Grandparents).
Most families will be familiar with SEQTA Engage from last year, if you have forgotten your username or password please contact the school asap and we can send you a re-set email.
All families who are new to the school this year have recently been sent an email, this included a link on how to set up your account.
We encourage all families to download the app if you haven't already, and of course if you encounter any issues please contact the school office and we can assist.
Please see below for the icon of the SEQTA Engage app.
