Thursday 13 June, 2024 (Week 9)
A note from Mr Pardini
Dear Families,
First Holy Communion - What a beautiful morning Mass to celebrate the first time Albie, Caelan, Finn, Oliver and Stella received Holy Communion. Well done to the communicants and their 'prayer friends' for making this occasion a joyous celebration. A big thanks to the staff of St Brigid's and in particular, Mrs O'Neill for putting in a lot of time and effort to ensure the children were prepared.
Front Administration Office - Thank you for your patience with our temporary arrangement. The carpets are drying nicely in our administration area following the recent flood. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to come into the front office which is located at the front of the library on Roe Street if you need to see the front office ladies.
Interschool Cross Country - Well done to our St Brigid's team at the recent Interschool cross country. From this event, we had 10 students who have been invited to attend the state championship in August. It was great to celebrate in the success of so many other schools at this level. The results of the cross country can be found below.
Free Dress Day - Monday 17 June - You may recall when Charlotte Jewell was our "Principal for the Day", she picked a date for students to wear free dress. Well, the day came and went, and I totally forgot! Luckily Miss Jewell didn't forget and held me accountable, so we selected another day. I have pleasure in announcing the whole school will celebrate a casual 'free dress' day this Monday 17 June. Thank you Charlotte for being a great Principal!
Dance Sport - We welcome back Debbie-Anne in the final week of this term, as she comes to us with her enthusiastic dance moves ready to guide classes during dance sport week. As we have done in the past, all children will be able to wear the sports uniform every day in this week (commencing Monday 24 June) so they can really get their dance moves on! This year, we will not be hosting a showcase on the final day of the week, as we wish to maximise the amount of learning that occurs in class time. Dance sport runs the entire week and concludes on the final day of term (Friday 28 June).
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

SEQTA Engage - Student Reports
All students reports Pre-Primary to Year 6, will be issued to parents via SEQTA Engage.
This method of issuing reports via a digital platform allows parents to have constant access to your child's current and past semester reports, they can also be easily shared to other family members (for example, Grandparents).
Most families will be familiar with SEQTA Engage from last year, if you have forgotten your username or password please contact the school asap and we can send you a re-set email.
All families who are new to the school this year have recently been sent an email, this included a link on how to set up your account.
We encourage all families to download the app if you haven't already, and of course if you encounter any issues please contact the school office and we can assist.
Please see below for the icon of the SEQTA Engage app.
