Thursday 27 June, 2024 (Week 11)
A note from Mr Pardini
Dear Families,
Bon voyage Miss Aird!
Tomorrow we bid farewell (or should I say bon voyage!) to our Year One teacher Miss Annie Aird. We will however see Annie next term for some relief days just before she sets off on her big trip overseas. May I take this opportunity to thank Miss Aird for a great year and wish her safe travels and a wonderful holiday experience. The Year One class are super lucky to have two teachers for the remainder of the year. Mrs Rubie Watts and Ms Ashleigh Weaver will commence in Year One tandem teaching set days over the week. We are looking forward to Mrs Watts and Ms Weaver commencing in this new role!
Reports - Reports have been pushed out via the SEQTA app. If you are having any difficulties, now is the time to come and see the front office for assistance before the holiday commences.
Faction House Reward - Tomorrow, we have three of our factions receiving their latest PBS reward (a free dress day). Yellow, Blue and Green factions will be able to come to school in free dress.
Dance Sport - What a week of fun, dance moves, shaking and bopping! Thank you once again to Debbie-Ann, Daniel and students for making this year's Dance Sport week a success. The cold weather this week almost made it the perfect conditions to move our bodies and warm up. If any parents would like to come and watch their child dance, you may come tomorrow (Friday) during their normal lesson in the hall.
Pupil Free Day - Start of Term 3 - The first day for students next term will be Tuesday 16 July. Please note, Monday 15 July is a Pupil Free Day.
Have a sensational holiday everyone and may you enjoy some relaxing (and warm) family days together. We look forward to seeing you again for the start of Term 3!

Term 3 Planner
Please see below for a link to our school Term 3 planner, a printed copy will also be sent home before the end of this week via the eldest child in the family.
Bunbury Soup Van - Meal in a Can
St Brigid's School will be supporting the Bunbury Soup Van "Meal in a Can" initiative, to help those in need, including homeless and struggling families, by providing soup and meals. At the beginning of Term 3 we will have donation boxes available at each classroom and we are appealing to St Brigid's families to provide a "Meal in a Can" in support of this cause.
Canteen Roster
We still have lots of spots to fill on our Term 3 Canteen Roster. You can indicate your availability by either posting a comment on the thread on the Parent Facebook page, or directly contacting Kristan Banks our Canteen Manager or the school office.
Look at what's coming up!
