A note from Mr Pardini
AGM
Our school Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 29 November at 6.00pm. We hope you can join us on this evening to 'wrap up' the year for both of these committees. A reminder, we are calling for nominations for executive and general members of both committees. If you think you would like to be a part of either our School Advisory Council or our P&F, please consider nominating. The link for nominations can be found in a new tile on the SZapp home page or via the live link below. All nominations need to be received by this coming Monday 28 November to be read out at the AGM. For a description of what the roles on these committees entail, please see the section below.
Year 6 Graduation Mass
Our Year 6 class will celebrate their Graduation at Mass this coming Wednesday 30 November at 9.00am. At this Mass, all children will be presented with their Graduation Certificate. Our departing Year 6 families will also be recognised. Year 6 Families, please come along to share the moment with your children as they graduate. Following Mass, we will gather for morning tea in the hall.
With the approaching season of Advent, we begin to turn our attention to the coming of Christmas and the birth of Jesus. May all our families enjoy the upcoming weekend and take time to relax in these very hectic (and sometimes stressful) days.

Interschool Carnival - Go St Bs!
What an incredible day St B's had at this year's Interschool Athletics Carnival on Tuesday 22 November. A team of 44 students from Y1 to Y6 along with Mrs Beesley, Mr Pardini, Mrs Matenaar and Mrs Hoare attended the carnival at Boyup Brook competing against Boyup Brook DHS Primary, St Mary's and combined schools Balingup-Greenbushes-Kirup. The weather was very warm but it did not deter the children as they competed against each other in jumps, sprints, flag races, team games and baton relays.
The number of ribbons the students were awarded was incredible!! As a result, St Brigid's came away with our FIRST EVER victory! We took out the Interschool Athletics Shield, with a massive lead of more than 200 points to the second placed school.
On an individual level there was several record breaking performances and many St B's students received medals (results are listed below).
CONGRATULATIONS to all these students along with everyone else who participated. Our skill level and our sportsmanship on display made me beyond proud and honoured to be the St Brigid’s PE teacher.
Thank you to everyone who assisted on the day and all the fabulous parents and friends that came along and cheered us on!
What a day, what a result! Go St Brigid's!
Mrs Beesley.
